How each class works
Every class is one hour: a short lesson, hands-on practice in VR with an AI avatar, then a review of how it went. Choose one-on-one coaching or a small group class of up to 3, where you practice alongside others. Your VR trainer tracks your progress so each class builds on the last.
What to wear
Comfortable clothing. Parents and support staff are welcome to watch.
How to pay
$86 per class, private pay. ACCES-VR Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) for eligible students: coming soon.
Common questions
Will this get me a job?
We can't promise a job, but practicing real interviews and workplace conversations is one of the best ways to walk in prepared and confident.
What is an AI avatar?
A realistic virtual person who talks and responds to you in VR, like an interviewer or a customer. You can practice the same conversation as many times as you need, with no real-world pressure.
What's the difference between one-on-one and group classes?
One-on-one is fully focused on your goals. In a small group of up to 3, you practice alongside others and learn from watching them too. Both are $86 per person, per class.
Can we focus on a specific job or interview?
Yes. Tell your VR trainer about an upcoming interview or a job you're interested in, and we'll practice for it.
Do I need to know how to use VR?
No. Your VR trainer helps you put on the headset and shows you everything you need. Most people get comfortable and acclimated within a few minutes.
Will VR make me dizzy?
Most people feel fine, since these classes are mostly standing or seated visual conversations. You can take a break or remove the headset any time.
What about seizures?
VR headsets carry a manufacturer warning for people with a history of seizures or epilepsy. If that applies to you, please check with your doctor before booking.
Can a parent or support person watch?
Yes, they're welcome to observe.
